Human Skin Cells May Yield Same Qualities as Desired From Embryonic Stem Cells

Scientists in the USA and Japan have found that human skin cells are just as 'pluripotent' as embryonic stem cells - they are more adaptable to scientist's various needs for research and hopefully to patient's needs someday. This discovery may eliminate the need for hotly contested embryonic stem cell research, and demonstrate that ethics need not be forgotten even at the cutting edge of scientific research.
